Well we all knew it was coming, and now its here! The latest iteration of the Apple iPhone, dubbed the iPhone 3G, has been officially announced by the company. Steve Jobs, in a keynote presentation today at the World Wide Developer’s Conference, announced to the world that the Three G iPhone is now a reality and will be available to the public on July 11th. Of course, the big deal about the new iPhone is that it has 3G networking support. This means that it can now browse the internet, stream video, and download email messages much faster. But there are more about the newest iPhone than just faster internet. Another big announcement today was the price that the 3G iPhone will be offered at. The cheapest version, at 8 GB capacity, is only $199 with a new AT&T contract. The more expensive version with 16 GB is only $299, and is offered in both black and white finishes.
